Market Memory — Takedown & Removal Policy

Last updated: 2026-07-27

Market Memory stores a history of publicly listed OLX offers (price, title, URL, and listing metadata — never descriptions, photos, or seller identity). This page explains how to have that data removed. It exists because retaining marketplace listing data is the main legal exposure of a shared public dataset, and there must be a clear, honest way to undo it.

Who can request removal

What can be removed

We cannot remove data from copies already held locally in individual users' browsers; that data is cleared when a user removes the extension or clears its storage. This policy covers the shared server dataset we operate.

How to request removal

Email wojtek20052006@gmail.com with:

  1. The listing URL or OLX listing ID (one per line if several).
  2. A one-line statement of your relationship to the listing (owner, OLX, rights holder, representative).
  3. A reply address we can confirm completion to.

You do not need an account, and you do not need to explain a legal basis to have your own listing removed — the listing ID is enough.

What happens next

Bulk / marketplace-wide requests

If OLX or a rights holder needs a category or the whole dataset addressed rather than a single listing, email the same address and we will agree an approach and timeline directly.
